An industry veteran, Craig’s career began with The Equitable where he completed the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations. In 1997, Craig formed Cypress Group, LLC, to handle the unique needs of retirement plans.
Prior to joining Strategic Retirement Partners as a Managing Director of the Mid-Atlantic regional office, Craig was a Managing Director affiliated with 401(k) Advisors where he was charged with assisting plan sponsor clients to adopt ongoing fiduciary best practices, including investment due diligence, fee benchmarking and plan compliance and design.
Craig holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) and Accredited Retirement Plan Consultant (ARPC) certifications.
In 2009 and 2010, Craig was ranked among the Top 40 Advisors on the 401kWire.com list of “Top 300 Most Influential” list.
Craig is a graduate of William & Mary with degrees in both History and Education. He is an investment advisor representative and has passed the FINRA Series 1 (Registered Representative Examination), Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 24 (General Securities Principal), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination), Series 65 (Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination) exams.
He resides in Williamsburg with his wife. They have two grown children.
