Chris is a Registered Representative with LPL Financial and an Investment Advisor Representative with WELLth Advisory Services. As Managing Director for Strategic Retirement Partners, Chris is responsible for growing the firm’s practice in Upstate New York. Chris has a strong technical background, including regulatory insight and plan design experience.
Chris started his career in retirement consulting as a Vice President for Principal Financial Group for 11 years. In this role, he was responsible for marketing and servicing the firm's retirement plan product portfolio. For over 15 years, Chris has overseen the group benefits division, including retirement plan solutions, at Walsh Duffield Companies, which serves 700 clients throughout Western New York. Chris has implemented and serviced over 200 retirement plans in past twenty-five years.
Outside of work, Chris serves on the board of directors for Clarence Industrial Development Agency and Schofield Residence. He is also an active United Way volunteer.
Chris is a 1986 graduate of St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a 1990 graduate of Canisius College with an MBA degree in Finance. In 2010, Chris obtained his Certified 401(k) Professional Designation from The Retirement Advisor University at UCLA. He resides with his wife Maryann and four children in Clarence, NY.
Delivering the local daily morning newspaper-up at 5am every morning to have the papers delivered by 6:30am plus cutting lawns in the summer.
Almost getting 4 kids through college – 2 down, 1 a junior, and one on deck.
