As the first-born daughter in a Filipino-American family, Giorgina credits her parents for showing her the importance of financial independence. She recognized early on that her parents devoted themselves to creating a better life for their family in a new country by making the best financial decisions for their situation. Giorgina continues to embody these values throughout her life, both personally and professionally.

Giorgina began her career in the financial industry with Wells Fargo Advisors as an intern in 2010. She was hired full-time and became a Registered Client Associate shortly after graduation. In this role, she helped clients set up their retirement accounts, assisted clients with their account needs, and was instrumental in building a process for regular client reviews. In 2015, Giorgina joined Doug Bermudez and Erin Hall as a Financial Advisor with the Bermudez/Hall Retirement Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. In this role, she worked closely with clients to create their financial plan, implement their appropriate investment strategy, and help them best navigate their financial endeavors. As of June 2019, Giorgina joined Strategic Retirement Partners (SRP) establishing their Los Angeles office as a Wealth Management Advisor. She will continue to serve our client’s ongoing financial needs in her new role.

Giorgina considers ongoing education as an important quality in her life. She holds two bachelor’s degrees in Financial Management and Business Economics from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). She also pursued her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board) in 2014. For this designation, she completed approved educational courses, passed rigorous examinations, and met stringent ethical requirements. This certification emphasizes the seven steps in the financial planning process—understanding the client’s personal and financial situation, identifying, selecting and prioritizing goals, analyzing current and alternative options available, developing recommendations, presenting recommendations, implementing the best recommendations for the client’s situation and goals, and monitoring the client’s progress and conducting regular reviews.

Giorgina recently purchased her very first home in San Pedro and lives with her boyfriend, Peter, and their dog, Bailey. She spends her free time visiting contemporary and modern art museums with her younger sister, learning how to cook authentic Filipino food from her mother, and enjoying local car shows with her father. She also loves building up her endurance with long-distance running, challenging her intellect with escape rooms, being competitive at trivia nights, and singing karaoke with friends.

Giorgina is an active volunteer in her community. She has engaged with several civic and community organizations throughout her life, including the Ukleja Center for Ethical Leadership, the Junior League of Long Beach, the Children’s Bureau, and Leadership Manhattan Beach, to name a few. She also recruits her friends and family to volunteer with her for annual Earth Day Beach Clean-up and Thanksgiving meal packaging events. Giorgina is also an environmental steward. She participates in sustainability efforts and strives to live a zero-waste lifestyle.
