Strategic Retirement Partners (SRP), a nationwide independent retirement plan consulting services firm, sponsored two Dine ‘N’ Dash events is February that raised $3,800 for two charities benefiting service members and veterans, including SRP’s matching contribution.
Our goal is to honor the service and remember the sacrifice of veterans and their families facing financial hardship,” said Jeff Cullen, SRP’s Managing Partner. “We just want to do something good for others and have the chance to say hello to some old friends and to make some new ones.”
The events were held at the Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants in Arlington Heights, Illinois and Brookfield, Wisconsin where attendees sampled wine and were able to pick up dinner for two to go in exchange for a donation. The proceeds from the Arlington Heights event went to benefit SALUTE, Inc. SALUTE delivers short term financial assistance to bridge the temporary income gaps and meet the basic needs of post 9/11 veterans. In Brookfield, the event benefited The Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative whose mission is to help homeless and at-risk veterans reach and maintain their highest levels of independence.
